Meet the Team - Raghav Priyadarshi, Vijay Sappani & More

Vijay was the Founder and CEO of Terrascend (cSE: TER), one of the first  licensed cannabis producers in Canada that exports cannabis globally and has reached a market capitalization of over $3B. Vijay is the founder and CEO of Ela Capital, a leading cannabis venture capital firm. Vijay holds investments in over 20 cannabis companies globally and brings international expertise and best practices to his native India.

Raghav  is Co-Founder of Koan Advisory, India's leading policy research and advocacy firm. A former investment banker, Raghav has additional commercial interests in the alco-bev, luxury hospitality and realty industries. Raghav also drives philanthropic initiatives encompassing animal welfare, rural infrastructure development and farmer welfare across India.

Vivan is Co-Founder of Koan Advisory. Previously, Vivan served as the CEO of the Global Governance Program at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), India’s largest multi-disciplinary think tank. Additionally, Vivan is Advisor to the Esya Centre, a technology policy think tank, and Board Member of several innovation-centric start-ups. He is the author of Wonked!: India in Search of an Economic Ideology, published by Bloomsbury in 2019.

Narenda is CEO of Laminar, a zero turbulence streaming infrastructure that helps the world’s great content companies launch a Netflix-class streaming service. Formerly, he has served as Chief Digital Officer at Xynteo, an Oslo-headquartered  consulting firm helping Fortune 100 companies re-engineer their businesses to put sustainability at the heart of profitable operations.

Vedika is promoter of a private contract-manufacturing firm supplying one of India’s largest consumer foods businesses. Additionally, she has developed the marketing and social media strategies of several boutique brands in the country spanning the apparel and hospitality industries.

Corey is a Toronto based award-winning creative director, designer and entrepreneur. He has built companies dedicated to disrupting the advertising, production, cannabis and publication sectors. He has won international awards at the One Show, D&AD and Cannes for his work.

Juan is a multidisciplinary and experienced Creative Director and Senior Graphic Designer who applies his knowledge utilising design thinking through conceptualisation to achieve optimum creative outcomes. He has previously worked with multiple global brands such as McDonald’s, MasterCard, Gatorade etc., and more recently finds himself creating and growing new brands in the cannabis, functional wellness and publication sectors.

Dr. Sharma is an Ayurvedic Physician with 14 years of extensive experience. Dr. Sharma is trained in nadi pariksha, panchkarma and marma treatments, which she incorporates with her knowledge of cannabinoid medicine to enable optimal treatment outcomes for patients. She also holds a Diploma in Nutrition Health and Education. Her special areas of interest and expertise include Rheumatic, Dermatological, Gastrointestinal, and Gynaecological disorders.

Dr. Soni is Head of Formulation Development, Dabur Research Foundation. She has vast experience in developing novel drug delivery systems for topical and oral applications. Dr. Soni has developed several patented technologies for enhancement of topical permeation and enhancement of bioavailability of drugs, herbs and phytochemicals. She has several national and international publications to her credit in the fields of nanomedicine, nanotechnology, pharmaceuticals and phytomedicine.

Dr. Pushparaj is the CEO and CSO of Qunuba Sciences, a leading cannabis inhalation technology company. He has extensive experience designing clinical trials supported by the US National Institute of Health and the Canadian Institutes for Health Research, as well as to obtain global regulatory approvals of medical devices and biopharmaceutical products.

Sean is a Cannabis Medicine Consultant from Ontario, Canada. Sean is a product specialist and subject matter expert in the medical cannabis sector, and dedicates particular interest to patient care and doctor engagement and education.

Matt is a CPG executive and strategic advisor with 20+ years in the dietary supplement, CPG and natural health industries. Matt brings extensive cannabis industry experience as former Director of Global Business Development at Charlotte’s Web, one of the world's leading CBD firms, and as VP of CBD at High12 Brands. Matt sits on the strategic advisory board of two early stage global medical cannabis companies and has experience in managing global go-to-market strategy development.
